Sungevity to partner with Solar Brokers to market residential solar systems in California

On October 12, Sungevity, Inc., and Solar Brokers Canada announced a partnership to market Sungevity Energy Systems to residential customers in the United States.

The partnership will cover U.S. regions where Sungevity is active with an initial focus on California. Solar Brokers Canada will operate as Solar Brokers America in the U.S.

Per the firm, the deal links two companies with partner-based business models, and who share a mutual focus on providing a high degree of customer service.

According to Sungevity, Solar Brokers is Canada’s largest solar energy reseller generating over 12 MW of business in 2015 throughout the Canadian market

J.C. Awwad, Chief Executive Officer, Solar Brokers Canada noted:

We chose to partner with Sungevity primarily because our complimentary business models create synergy between our two companies.
