SPI Energy and AES Distributed Energy partner on 700-kW solar at Sacramento King’s arena

On October 27, SPI Energy Co., Ltd announced that its subsidiary, SPI Solar, Inc had completed a 700-kW rooftop solar project with AES Distributed Energy, Inc. The project is located Sacramento Kings’ home base.

Xiaofeng Peng, Chairman and CEO of SPI Energy noted:

“The successful development and completion of the Sacramento Kings project is another strong testament to our reliable and high quality products. We are delighted to witness the Golden 1 Center become the first indoor arena in the world to be fully powered by solar energy.
