Navigant acquires Ecofys, adds 150 energy and sustainability consultants in Europe

On November 7, Navigant announced it had acquired Ecofys, a consulting firm based in Europe focusing on energy and sustainability.

According to the firm, the addition of 150 Ecofys consulting professionals will enhance Navigant’s capabilities by providing additional expertise in the areas of energy policy, climate strategies and policies, energy systems and markets, urban energy, and sustainability services.

Jan Vrins, managing director and leader of Navigant’s Energy segment observed: “Ecofys has a strong reputation as a premier provider of energy consulting services, The addition of Ecofys strengthens Navigant’s energy solutions to our clients, creating robust capabilities for governments, utility companies, industry, and new entrants to effectively respond to and capitalize on the global transformation within the energy sector.”
