FireFly announces crowdfunding campaign for new energy storage product

On June 15, FireFly announced it had launched a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo in order to raise capital to manufacture, market, and distribute the firm’s PowerBank.

According to the company, the new product goes beyond the standard powerbank function, offering a high-capacity powerbank, a Bluetooth speaker, and bright LED lamp.

The company has several funding perks available, including the FireFly and the FireBug, which is a flexible LED light that can be used in addition to the FireFly for additional lighting. The company has a projected shipping date of November 2016 for all perks.

The founder of FireFly, Tammy Bates, is an entrepreneur with experience in solar energy start-ups.
