BlueRock Solar And Active Solar Development To Build Largest New York State Community Solar Project

On June 21, 2017, BlueRock Solar announced plans for a community solar project just outside Buffalo, NY in Grand Island. 

According to BlueRock, the project was approved by the Grand Island town board and will be completed in partnership with Active Solar Development with installation beginning in two to three months. Per the companies, this 18-acre solar array will be the largest community solar installation project in New York state and will power up to 400 homes and businesses
